Last night I went to see Wicked at the Opera House in Boston. I'd been looking forward to it since I hadn't really been to see anything in awhile, and it didn't disappoint, although it wasn't quite as fantastic as seeing it on Broadway. My seat was miles closer this time, and the Opera House is so much smaller than the Gershwin in New York, so that made it quite different. I think my favorite part of the night was hearing the guy sitting behind me tell his friend at the end that what he liked best was getting to find out that "it's like the Wicked Witch wasn't bad at all, she was actually good," like it was some big revelation he was letting everyone else in on.
